"A decade of music with vast genres. Example: Same decade Seasons in the sun. And Friggin in the riggin. However I would have to say disco It was joyful music designed to make you feel good and dance. Maybe it was just painting over the cracks of a broken society but I guess that's where punk found it's home highlighting everything that was wrong at the time. I wish music still had the ability to make such a difference today. " Interesting shout. I saw a great talk by Bill Brewster where he argued disco was the most misunderstood genre, with so much beyond the cliches of Afro wigs and flares. Loads of great, pretty unknown tunes. | |||
