So, besides hanging about on Fab, do any of you have hobbies?

Is there something you do that you enjoy?

(Wanking isn’t allowed as an answer! lol)

Manchester (she/her)

I'm a big reader, trying to learn more about other cultures and the deeper meaning of particular movements.

I dabble in languages - I'm contemplating Russian as our geopolitical situation shifts (related to the first thing I said). This week I've mastered their alphabet for funsies.

When I have time, I dabble in photography, sewing/embroidery (used to be a seamstress), papercrafing and most recently, gardening.

I'm one of those with too many to mention! I can never get good at any of em cos my attention always gets distracted by one of my other numerous hobbies!

Love being out with the dog though, on a long country ramble x

I guess that mainly I read, I'm most at peace when surrounded by hundreds of books. Also listen to music that is unknown to 99.9% of the population ("Music For Quiet Moments" at this moment). Years past I loved walking on hills or by the sea, as I age I do less and less of that, maybe I find the immenseness of the outdoors a touch overwhelming when not with companions? More recently I find that I quite enjoy throwing a bunch of chopped ingredients into a pan and generating nice food when there is someone around to share it with.

Computers have been a large part of my life, both providing me with a career and just being fun to make them "do stuff", though are also a literal pain (fucking RSI!).

I suppose being transgender (see profile for details of my particular flavour of being trans) was once something that I "did" but now it's just part of who I am.

Did I mention comics? Well, comics. About 40,000 of them - I've never counted exactly.

Some people can be described as a mystery wrapped up in an enigma - perhaps I'm more of a tangled mess wrapped up in cellophane...

Same here! I like so many things that not one thing ever gets completely finished!

I keep saying I’m going to finish projects, but always ending up starting new ones!

I love being out with my dog also, nature is so uplifting….

As above, too many hobbies lol.

Gardening, upcycling, reading, interior design, movies, music and attempting to learn to play guitar.

My latest little venture is acrylic pouring, I just wish I had more work space as they take forever to dry.
