I do that at my local cider farm. Well, with cider, not beer. They sell their “past the best before” date stuff at a silly price.

Keep the fridge /freezer as full as possible. Even if it means putting water bottles /bags in it.

Most energy is consumed trying to cool warm air that enters it. If you have a fridge/freezer full less room for warm/room temp air to enter

And practice opening and shutting the doors quickly.

+ Move them away from heat sources.

+ Ensure there's good airflow around them.

A shit winter awaits us, invite a fabber for a cwtch cuddle. Body - skin to skin is a nice cost effective alternative
