I’m no woman, but I’m sure loads would, and do, via their filters.

But some *definitely* like the attention, you know those types in your local updates that have a weekly “6,000 unread messages had to bulk delete, please message again” update and end up in a continual cycle of bulk deleting ..

That's how I've always done it. Over many years on here I only ever met one person that I didn't initiate contact with, and it was rare that I ever responded to incoming messages.

No I wouldn’t, In fact I’m considering deleting my profile and opening a new one where I block all men so I only I can make the first contact. Avoids unwanted messages for me that way. I think even if I block now on this account all the men who have already contacted me can still do so?

Not me personally. I have filters, still get a lot of messages yes but that’s what happens when you’re a woman on sites like this.

If I want to initiate conversation I will though.

The men who you replied to can still message you when you block all men. It's why so many women don't reply.

If you didn't reply to them they can't.
