People bang on about joining the fora, make friends that way they say, when so called friends have been made and they choose to start a new chapter in their life (who knows why they are leaving) the friends from the friendly fora then pile on and rip the piss out of their friend.... I think should have some respect. We are all different with many different feelings and needs. As said earlier this site can get overwhelming for some and people sometimes just need a break. No need to judge them on their feelings and action. Think how you would feel if you were having mental health problems because you got addicted here for example and it took over you life. Known that happen to some

I'd say it it's attention seeking. Any time I've intermittently left, I've DMd the contacts or people that I want to remain in touch with and give them the heads up. Otherwise I'd leave without a trace.

One guy put on his status he was leaving the site at 8pm.

Around 9pm he messaged me so I asked why he was still about, he'd changed his mind, he'd leave in 2 days when his supporters pass ran out.

I asked if he thought 2 days would make a difference (his other statuses were always about how no one would meet and what a wastevof time it was)

I even tried giving him profile advice but he wouldn't take it as he knew best what worked on a 'sex site'!!

He did leave 2 days later and then popped back up a few days later on a new profile with same cock photo as his profile photo

Posting that you're leaving on a forum post vs messaging a friend - quite different actions aren't they? As I said IME people whose mental health isn't great don't want to draw attention to themselves usually. Anyone I have seen write about it here has done so as a way to reach out to others.

Am sure you are right in lot of cases. I have however seen some have problems and was not about attention. Ones I mainly know were people getting addicted to this site. One had many meets so had plenty of attention. They were spending many hours a day on here and neglecting themselves. In end they realised that
