"I'm from Lanarkshire and I do enjoy a good peaty whisky.. My preference would probably be the Ardbeg Uigeadail or the Port Askaig 15 Year Old Sherry Cask .." My kind of whiskies! Have you tried the Ardbeg Corryvreckan? Stunning. | |||

Fonseca 85/87.. also Gould Campbell 10 year old and Smith Woodhouse 1984. I have a Dow's Vintage 1977. It's ready to drink... apparently. But some say "lay low" for a while longer. | |||

Me too.
But it was good at rhe time.."Always is mate. Few months ago during a moment of pure bravado trying to impress my father inlaw. I opened a 12yr old macallan double cask for the sake of two nips each. Discontinued in 2018. Would be worth a fortune in a few years. Worthless now. Woke up in morning to open bottle sitting in kitchen. Absolute instant regret.  | |||
