Made me giggle today when I was called a mature older lady.

I'm only 47 !! Feel about 25 90% of the time.

What do you class as mature or see as mature

I've met exceedingly mature 25 yos and excruciatingly immature 60 yos in life! Maturity is nothing related to age when it comes to people!

Did someone mention cheddar though ...

A great wine is mature(d) or is that only after it’s laid down? Perhaps we’re only mature when laying down?

See that's my thinking I'm getting older (I feel 100 at the moment but I'm mid nightshift run) but I feel 25 but I've met 25 year old who have their head screwed on and like you 60 year old I think grow the feck up

Cheeeeeeese is life

I'm restricted to dairy free too

I wouldn't use the word mature. I'd use the word MILF or older woman to be more respectful

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

Let’s be honest, using the word mature is just a polite way of saying you don’t look that young anymore. So it’s not necessarily age specific, but I guess that to someone young then mature is likely to be anyone 40+ But for me being nearly 60 it’s a generally higher bracket

I'm happy to be called mature, older or whatever because that's what I am. It's not insulting in my opinion. What I don't like is being stereotyped because of my age

Mature is to have developed fully in both body and mind as person.

Its that self assurance sparkle that cannot be bought.

I was once called mature. I took it on the chin (no puns please).

However I much prefer: vintage, heritage or "of a bygone era".

I'm not fussed; they're just words put together to elicit a response.

To be honest, it's something I've not really paid attention too anymore. I was 24 when I first started using the forums and was so concerned about coming across as mature as I didn't want people being put off by my age. I played everything with a straight bat, didn't engage in banter or flirty threads in case it was interpreted as immaturity to the point I resented some of the older guys who would do that and seeing they got engaging responses.

I think I've been here long enough now where I can just be myself and let loose a bit more without worrying and realized it's more important to just be yourself and let others decide if they're on your wavelength.
