Modern, has to be Whispering A Prayer by Steve Vai.

Classical, Rachmaninoff's 3rd.

I like a lot of instrumentals from many genres, probably too many to list...

"Sexy and soxy... those wold be my other number ones "

Yeah Affro ,,,it's frick'in impossible to pick just one....

Right now I’m totally enraptured with the melodic wordless singing on Ennio Morricone's theme from “Once upon a time in the West” which leaves me breathless every-time I listen to it….

awesome it is...….

Its quite ironic films with such horrific subject matter can be associated with such beautiful sound-tracks…….

The theme from Black Hawk Down Featuring Denez Prigent & Lisa Gerrard is stunning…

As is John Williams “Hymn for the fallen” in "Saving Private Ryan"

the Andrew Loog Oldham Orchestral version of the rolling stones song "the last time".

it sounds nothing like the rolling stones song it's based around (probably a good thing, not my fav rolling stones song!) definitely a great instrumental version though.
