Sorry, I have appeared to have opened a can of worms with this observation, as a poster below mentioned the ‘new kid in town’ could have been related to you posting on the forums.

Anyway, didn’t mean to rude and sorry if it came across that way. Unfortunately you can’t control what people respond with but if you take most of it with the good (or probably bad in my case!) humour it’s intended, and a hefty pinch of salt, you’ll more than likely have a great time. Even the most serious posts on here can get a bit silly which is what makes it fun and lighthearted IMO.

I kinda feel like threads like this hijack the lounge. Post in the meets section. If you start seiving for a meet on a lounge thread, it’s not going to end well. Put some effort in, search locally, view the meets, post in meets, set up your own meet, but don’t get high and mighty when your ineffective and effort free shagnet catches some boots

Think of the forums as being speakers corner in Hyde Park which is probably the high altar of free speech and therefore democracy.

People get on a soapbox and talk to those who gather to listen on such diverse subjects. The speakers open themselves to counter argument ridicule and jibing. It’s the speakers right to speak and the listeners right to question. If this causes you concern or upsets you in anyway refrain from going to Hyde Park!

Put some effort in, search locally, view the meets, post in meets, set up your own meet, but don’t get high and mighty when your ineffective and effort free shagnet catches some boots"
