I've read of the success of a few of us in the past week in getting new jobs.

So, let me add my name to the list!

I've been "head-hunted" by a major hotel group, into a similar role to what I'm doing now, but with more responsibility, in a bigger property, better benefits and of course, an increase in salary.

I beat 6 others to the role. I'm moving only 15 miles away from where I am now.

A very good Xmas present indeed!.

Isn't life grand??

Well actually, I got my present job just over a year ago. But this new one came through only at the start of last week.

So, made aware of it Monday; inter_iewed Thursday; they decided today and the recruitment agency called me at 9.15am

That's good timing. And it proves that at 57, I can still hack it at the inter_iew!
