Similar to nice couple, but have no worries about dying. So long as it's not painful and takes years...or even months to pop my clogs.

So long as it came with health, vitality, etc, then God yes.

I want to do SO much yet, and even if I'm lucky I'm over halfway through already before I feel I've taken a breath.

Depends … I would hate live forever , must be exhausting … and painful

But if u calculate a way to save the world and make it a better place may be worth the sacrifice …

I'd see it as a curse. The pain of losing people you care about constantly would be horrible and would end up being more of a curse than anything else.

Why would you want to get used to seeing your family grow old and die and you just carrying on. No thanks. As Freddie Mercury sang “ Who wants to live for ever”

Your not going to see family dying around you for eternity .. your existing family would eventually pass away if you had any then it's done you wouldn't have more family

Your family as you know it would all eventually die .. first family .. if you had brothers sisters there children would continue but would get to a point you would have no connection as people would question who you are or how your alive .. once given the gift of immortality you accept the conditions given to you to protect the secret

I would have taken it as a gift, in fact I did and now, 2655 years later, I see it as a bit of a curse to be honest. I could do with a rest and I can't believe how badly people have misinterpreted religion.

I think it'd be a really fucked up feeling once you got to the point where your current life feels like a distant memory, or a dream. Your closest family right now would just become people you used to know a lifetime ago and you'd eventually forget them. Even the thought makes me feel so sad and terrified.

That short period of time that it takes to loose all current family of your time would feel like seconds compared to the time you've spent since .. you have the ability to change and channel your emotions to make them more intense or numb

If you accept, for a moment, that the Earth is the only planet in the universe that supports life then every species on Earth is unique. That’s to say there is nothing like it bore or after therefore totally and utterly unique.

Then you adopt the law of metaphysics which hypothesises that energy cannot be destroyed then from the moment you were created you became immortal!

Just a thought on an autumnal morning.

Good question. There’s a great episode in the Sandman where Sandman (a god) gives some random peasant from the Middle Ages immortality. Sandman is convinced that the peasant will come to hate it, and they meet every 100 years to see how he’s feeling. The guy (now living in the modern age) still loves his immortality to this day…
