"What exactly was the curse?"

The curse of the pharaohs or the mummy's curse is a curse alleged to be cast upon anyone who disturbs the mummy of an ancient Egyptian, especially a pharaoh. This curse, which does not differentiate between thieves and archaeologists, is claimed to cause bad luck, illness, or death.

Who is it likely to affect 100 years on?

Descendants of the people who opened the tomb?

Although not sure if Lord Carnarvon and Howard Carter had any children.

I believe it's possible, no body clearly understand curses or any kind of black magic or even White magic. How powerful they maybe besides those whom do have a understanding.

With anything like this I always ask how many people connected with the phenomenon haven't been affected.

The human mind is undervalued in its power to shape our destinies.

I suggest that both the poeer of curses and our interpretations of results, are largely attributable to our brain/mind. Until we die out or evolve, we'll get continuation of many silly obsessions.

James Randi calculated that people involved in the excavation lived, on average, a year longer than others at their time.

Sixth sense, to be able to talk with those no longer in the same living as you say ever wonder who was the first person to understand this and why create a board way it was designed then you have cards can you explain I'm guessing not and say never say unless you have a open mind and have experienced the weird which I didn't expect but it does make you think about a lot trust me wink

I wonder if DNA can be extracted from a mummy and brought back to life. Possibly recreating a Pharoah.

Lord Porchester the Queens horse racing advisor/ manager, descended from Lord Carnarvon. Throw in rumours Andrew is their son. Things start making sense there is alot of bad karma involved.

Failed marriages, castle fire, freak accidents.

I don't think any of that is the curse of Tut Ankh Amun.

I caught the end of a fascinating program about Tut Ankh Amun the other day. Apparently his tomb was very hastily prepared and it's believed it was meant for someone else.

Two still born girls were found in his tomb, daughters from him and his sister of sorts. Like his own mother and father.

He was doomed from the start.

They are still digging up tombs today.

Can`t be right.

They reckon they've found about 1 % of the ancient relics in Egypt so far. Mind blowing.

Most probably his step mum Nefertiti... It was even angled in the direction a females tomb would be..

Hastily drawn hieroglyphics instead of carved into the walls and they didn't even let the plaster dry before painting the hieroglyphs hence the mould on the walls not seen anywhere else..

It is probable Ay arranged a quick entombment so he could take over as pharaoh which he did for 4 years....

The more rightful next Pharaoh was away fighting but could have claimed the throne if nearby...

Tutankhamun probably died from an infected knee injury....
