Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Nothing with baubles attached - unless they are silk, plastic or paper ones. I'd hate to think of the whole company in A&E with bauble cuts.

What's your favourite Christmassy thing? Does it lend itself to a costume?

Will offer the suggestions I offered earlier in the week.

For a parcel you need an appliance box. Reinforce the corners/joints with parcel tape.

Cut out a head hole and the base for your legs and arm holes on either side.

Decorate the box with ribbon and put on.

The issue will be sitting down.

Or:

Buy one of those big cheap felt santa sacks.

Open the bottom seam for your legs.

Either attach elastic round the top and stitch on some ribbons for shoulder straps or cut arm holes and carefully pull the drawstring around your neck - DO NOT HANG YOURSELF AT THIS POINT!!!!

I like the sack idea and promise I will add elastic round the top and not do the drawstring thingy bit

I dressed as a christmas parcel for a fancy dress party in October lol, was guaranteed nobody else had that costume. Sitting down in the box was definitely a problem tho, maybe with a shorter box ....

Wear regular clothes, when people ask what you're meant to be tell them you're a homicidal sociopath, they look just like everyone else. Sure it's lazy but it's clever (or would ordinary clothes in that situation be fancy dress?)

You should go as a Christmas Stocking. Everyone knows there is a treat inside.

You could go as a mummy - arp yourself head to toe in bandages.

Added bonus is that it'll save time at A&E later...!
