VA club privacy and security advice

I’m building up the courage to join the VA club near me. The club has good reviews but I’m worried that they are asking for my address to be stored with them. I get the point it’s a members club and you need to prove you are genuine when joining but I’m worried that if they keep the details on file I may have issues.

I share a house so I’m worried if things get sent in the post plus also worried about details getting hacked.

Anyone a member already or could give advice?

Thanks

Clubs will always tell you what they will do with your data, including which types of contact they will make, if any, which you need to approve of, in advance.

They will be GDPR compliant too. I'd contact them with any concerns, so that you can make the application when you're confident.

I'm a member, they don't send anything in the post and only e mail the address you give them. They are very discreet and I've not had any hacking or phishing problems.

I recommend them.

Thanks, that makes me feel better. I’ll reach out to them directly as well as suggested
