When you are finally feeling brave enough to tell your partner something that most people would keep to themselves.

Has it been cathartic, reinforcing the trust between you?

OR

Has it backfired and been a complete pain ever since?

I've told one person something i was afraid to even acknowledge to myself - it went pretty well and i haven't regretted it. I don't know that I'll ever repeat it tho.

Not been a big pain but not something I’d tell her again if I had the choice

Well... I don't really open up easily. So if I'm going to, then I won't regret it because I felt comfortable enough to and trusted a person. And that's a lovely thing. Regardless of if you don't get the response you'd like.

But it's really, really rare for me to tell someone something like that. The few times I have it's been taken positively, so that might have caused a bias.

Mr NBVN knows all of my inner thoughts and is the only person I trusted enough to open up to. It didn't backfire thankfully, he opened up to me in return and it most certainly strengthened our bond.

NBVN x

Only when there is complete trust , honesty and integrity, till then the answer is no.

When I first met my husband 29 years I think I told him I was bisexual after about a month of knowing him .We’ve always been open and honest about everything.

I couldn’t imagine not being able to have open and honest conversations with the one person you love and trust most in the world.
