I am a fan of minimalism, I like white flowers, loads of whites and off whites in the home.. and I love white Christmas lights.

What do you like in terms of decorations? White or colourful?

When the kids were little it was bright colours everywhere but now they've grown up we only have white lights and candles to decorate the house, no tree or other decorations.

Like yourself I am a minimalist. Always go for white lights on a real tree I think it looks far more traditional.

Don't usually bother with decorations at all but now I have my 4yr old I had to buy a tree. Prefer the simple elegant look myself and just had to look at last years photos to see what on earth colour I'd had last year - was hot pink and silver with white lights.
