Whilst soft close loo seats are all good it's important to remember to leave them up as much as possible.

That way the 'soft close' function won't wear out too quickly and it'll also cut down on any complaints from female occupants of the house that male occupants have inadvertently pissed on the seat - far less likely to happen if women remember to leave it up after each use so its ready for the next guy to visit.

And don't go coming up with daft suggestions that men and boys in the house should simply remember to lift the seat themselves each time they visit the loo. They're far too busy think about other important things like boobs and sport.
