It makes my day when I happen to come across a profile whereby they have repeat verifications which indicate a level of possessiveness.

This tends to be more common on mens profile and women leave verifications like 'this man is amazing, we hit it off wonderfully. From the very first text and subsequent hourly phone calls.where he was professing his undying love for me and telling me I am the most beautiful woman he's ever met, to the explosive fantastic sex. Can't wait to meet this man again, which will be in a few days time as we can't get enough of each other. Ladies do not pass this guy by (but if you do message him for sex I will rip your face off with my nails). There then follows about 20 verifications from the same woman with detail along the same lines.

I particularly like when two women are in contest with each other, posting verifications to show the other that they've met the guy again.

It makes most entertaining reading. I wish Fa b could produce a book with the best verifications in it. It would make a tidy profit.

DISCLAIMER - the verification quoted was not a real verification copied from a profile, but the authors own work from her rather vivid imagination. Any similarities to others either dead or alive is entirely coincidental

Hee hee have to agree with you there!

I rarely write two veris for someone - mine are usually based on the coffee meet as I think that's what other single fems want to know (did I feel comfortable with him, was he well groomed and well mannered - whether I wanted to play is by the by as my taste is not yours).

So when someone has 20 veris and five are from one meet and six from another it actually makes me less likely to want to meet him. I don't want to get stuck in the middle of anything or be pressured to veri every five mins!

I don't think there's anything ominous about verifying someone a few times. If you've met a guy more than once and have had a good time, then its an appreciative gesture. It does also indicate that the guy is nice enough to meet again, which is good to hear.

Its the content of some verifications which leave you in no doubt about their jealousy

Maybe if the guy doesn't display the follow up veris from a lass, he might be worried what she might do... especially if she is possessive, and he's got a pet rabbit

Yes. I can understand showing a coffee meet veri and then a play veri from the same person. If you have more than one play veri then I would show the most recent.

If a regular playmate of mine asked me to write them a new one as the first one was some time ago and they want something that shows they are on the scene and playing then I would happily oblige. But only if we've met recently.

I will however verify people I've met who have closed their old profile and opened a new one as this is often due to bunny boilers. But it will be a general veri with no play info and state that we met prior to this profile.

I think this verification thing is bizarre, it is like you are getting a report on your performance, I think it is important for fellow swingers to know you are genuine but we must remember what another girl considers hot and the most amazing guy might not be so amazing for you.

Should we display every verification? My friend said that if a guy sees a big lost list he assumes you are a bike and moves on, I explained that lots of my verifications are just saying that I have been seen on cam, he said guys dont read them, just see the big list and think slag!!!

I have 3 off one and vice-versa but neither of us were possessive. We just decided to verify more than once at the time.

Obviously the initial meet needed it then I think I managed to exceed myself on one or maybe two of the repeat occasions to warrant further verification.

Makes up for the two I lost due to members leaving the site.

I write this like 'don't pass him by' or 'hope to meet again' without wanting to harm other meets all the time. I think a lot of this reaction speaks more about the reader of the veri than the writer to be honest. People read all sorts of things into veris despite their actual meaning

Generally, I do not pay much attention to verifications, as I prefer to assess a gent based on my own dealings with him, as well as to rely on my own instincts and gut feel.

I must admit I tend to avoid those with multiple verifications from the same person in a short period of time, as it shows dependency and too much attachments for both parties concerned for my liking.

However, at the end of the day, each to their own, and they must do/act/whatever they feel comfortable. Who am I to tell another person he/she is wrong just because I do not agree with or like it?

I love seeing multiple veri's from the same person, it's so funny. Especially when they get more and more intense.

Or when the woman's profile says 'not meeting because I have met my dream man Mr Xyz' and the bloke's profile says he'll meet anyone, any time, anywhere.

I meet someone regularly and we write each other veri's, some we display some we dont. It's a little thing we like to do, often our veri's are jokey to each other about something that made us tickle in the meet. Neither of us are bunny boilers or possessive. We _iew it as a bit of fun.

I can't see the harm in choosing to display them all of choosing to display 1 or 2.

I currently only have veri's from last month or two on display to show I currently meet.

I soon got board of the verification system. If someone was a good meet then if they are new I will verify however repeat ones like the OP says can be like war and peace.

I do think some need and cling to verifications as some form of solace, acceptance and reassurance that they are appreciated.

The ones lie the OP said that repeat and claim almost undying love in the "he/she is mine" vein are endearing/embarrassing/amusing at times to me personally but its a big but its their profile not mine.

I hve repeat verifications...but i'm a slut...i dont have anyone on hold nor a hold on anyone.Most of the times they are a month or two inbetween and most often are a different situation ie attended a party with them

For me, 1on1 sole verifications only give me an idea that the people shagged...and shows me nothing about their sociability... they might have been a fantastic fuck...but were they good in others company?

I try not to show my meet verifications - some think I'm embarrased or ashamed, others think it a point of discretion. While I do not set out to hurt anyone's feelings I don't see why I need to show more than 2 verifications from the same person.

The word 'verification' is being confused by some who seem to use it as a ratings system. A verification is to state if the person is genuine and everything they claim to be (a couple, as described in their profile etc). Once verified, why would you need to verify them again?

Maybe it should be changed to a simple tick box system confirming they are genuine with a few basic criteria. After all, whether you consider them to be a good shag / good-looking / fun to be with is subjective.

how about it termed as 'feedback' then?-thats how most use it.

If I have a TV verification, thats a social verification(as regards to my sexual leaning), I'd rather it could read something like this:-

met this wacky guy in a party, he was so much fun, I did want his cock, but it wasnt going to happen, nice guy tho..friendly and chatty.

or a tickbox says:-

met and is genuine

I know what I'd be thinking people will think(I state on my profile I dont care what people think of my verifications or who they are from, or the frequency), just remember its not so easy for lots of people.

the feedback system is flawed but shows a certain level of need for many peoplein gaining successful meets.

The snobbish attitudes of some on what others have on their profiles(u only really hear it via the forums for some reason), instantly makes me think that if u arent interested in the profile or the feedback...just avoid...simple enough isnt it?

I agree there may be some repeat verifications..but its not used as a counting of meets...its reflective to whom it may concern...and if U arent going to meet them..then it doesnt concern u.
