Hey everyone

We’re both 40 next year so we’re leaving the children behind for a short break (3 nights maybe).

Where would you recommend? We’d like somewhere vaguely hot and we’ll go on May time .

Thanks!

Rome. You can do all the tourist bits in 3 days, and still have time to chill

Depends what your interests are and what you like to do on holiday

If it's lying on a beach with the sun shining,as it's only a few days Spain or south France.

If you prefer city breaks, you can't go wrong with Belfast, the city is buzzing in recent years, and more so since covid

City break or beach/resort?

We did Amsterdam for my 40th which was lovely and warm in August and a great weekend, however for a short beach break try Portugal.

I would recommend leaving them with relatives.

The airing cupboard is pretty hot if you are from the Harry Potter school of parenting, but get someone to check on them every now and then if you are away for 3 nights.
