I’ve had some unbelievable news regarding work and the future

I want to shout it from the roof tops

But I don’t want to look a teat

Is flexing frowned upon or are you all about sharing the positive energy

Tell LinkedIn! And your friends! And maybe Facebook?

If you’re proud of yourself then be proud of yourself!

Please do

Totally do, come on and say you had a top class day, got amazing news, aced an interview, got a promotion.....

I'd love hearing great news any day!

I'd not encourage specifics though, for your own sake. People can be unpredictable

.

Flexing.

Oh I learnt a new word yesterday, nesh. Had to ask what it meant. Now I know there's a new meaning to flexing. So educational.

Anyway, OP, sing it from the rooftops. We have a weird culture in the UK of downplaying success, like heaven forbid you're happy/successful/achieving something. Maybe weather it with oh, but I stepped on Lego and people will find it more palatable.
