Covent Garden

Géntlemèn, Lådìes, Bínarìes and Whatévèries...

In all my years on this Sceptred Isle I have come across many a citizen of far flung empires and habitats. BUT I have never ever met anyone from - Andorra, Liechtenstein or San Marino. And yet they are closer to me than Inverness.

Weird huh?

I’ve never met anyone from Dorking. And I’m a Dork. Makes you think, OP, doesn’t it?

All I know about Liechtenstein is that the entire country is approximately 8 times smaller than the city of Los Angeles.

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

Given that the total population of all three of those combined is only 150,000, within a total European population of 746 million, so only one in every 5000 Europeans is from one of those doesn’t really make it too surprising I guess

I've been to all three so by very definition have met people from all three.

Slightly off topic but yesterday I met someone from the Galápagos Islands. How about that?

where the road goes on forever

Dallas to Houston about the same distance as Paris to London, (I know that has nothing to do with your thread but it's a big old world out there)
