Have you got a favourite go to place?

Either in or on the ocean swimming or boarding the gentle sloshing sound of the water.

Two.

Windsor great park, just an amazing place beautiful and relaxing.

Three.

Laying in bed just before going to sleep with jools snuggled up next to me.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

By the sea, preferably at Lyme Regis.

Woodlands/forests.

My local bit of water to watch the wildlife.

Dubai & Nottingham

My friends house, she is my peace.

Wildcamps , especially summit of winn hill in hope on clear nights because it’s quick to get up and deserted between sunset & sunrise

Here I like La Mer beach after work in winter for sunset jet ski and shisha, such a relaxing vibe to contrast such a busy city.

The place as such doesn’t matter but for some reason I always feel relaxed when I’m under something canvas, keeping dry, listening to the rain land on it.

We love green places. Yorkshire has some amazing green places with breathtaking views.

Slimbridge. It’s a wetlands centre in Gloucestershire.

All those birds, the water, I find it incredibly relaxing

Portsmouth

The seafront, if it's not peak tourist season.

Canoe lake and the rose gardens, or the park in town. Also the cemetery, always quiet in there!

North West

The western lake district.

Or on a beach when it's wet and windy.

Or warm in bed when it's raining outside.

Any deciduous woodland, but beech woods where I work are something else.

Glasgow

On a beach, sitting in the sand, blanket wrapped round my shoulders, watching the sun set.

So calming, and the smell from the sea is wonderful.

Laying on the sofa eating a cornetto and reading just before having my afternoon powernap to recharge my glamour meter

London

The mountains. Sun, snow, clear blue skies and an empty piste is about as good as it gets for me.

In the UK, the Peak District is my go to for a zen reset.

By the local canal or in Manchester City Centre, yes not very serene but hey... with my camera in hand lost in the moment of taking the shot I am a happy man

Sunderland

Roker beach. But I took an ex there when we were together, a lot. Now he takes his new girlfriend there, a lot. So I don't go there much anymore. We have other lovely beaches but that was my fave.

The Maldives or Canadian Rockies. In the UK my most serene moment came a few years ago on a Norfolk beach at 1am, there is something almost eternal and inevitable about listening to waves in the near dark
