So if a fella says “I wouldn’t ever rule out playing with and/or sucking a cock” but feels no attraction to guys per se and doesn’t want to kiss / fuck or be fucked / enter a relationship etc then should he be considered (for the purposes of FAB) bisexual / bi-curious or is he still OK as a straight guy who may or may not fancy blowing another guy one day?

Not that I think it matters what sexual preference you put down as long as your honest with your partner and potential meets.

But no not ruling something out ever is different from actively seeking it or being curious to try it soon.

I think you are OK with straight

It depends.

If sucking a cock makes you gay, your essentially saying a cock is the only thing that matters when it comes to being a man. Becayse your saying that even if the most beautiful woman had a cock, it’s still gay

For me, just the penis isn’t enough to be gay. Sexuality is more complicated than that

I can play with a female as part of a fmf but have never been drawn to one romantically. I enjoy seeing them fall apart in orgasm from time to time but I don't look for them to pleasure me in return.

And I have debated between the straight/bi labels. I go with what's most prominent for me. The extra fun is purely situational and I don't seek it out.

There's a lot of hetero-flexible talk and other similar labels but it just boils down to knowing what you like and accepting it at face value.

It doesn't have to be any deeper than 'feels good, me like, give me more'

There are only 3 choices, straight, bi & gay as anything else is just one of those but chosen by an attention seeker.

You choose as it's only you that can decide.

I think that is one kind of Fab Straight There are a few variations.

I was having this discussion on another thread. The old sexuality labels fall over easily when you consider cis versus trans, and other angles.

Where I am:

Straight covers off cis male/females only having sexual relationships with cis females/males. Anything else creates confusion.

Once beyond that, you are bi/pan/queer.

Trouble is its a catchall so it's not that useful.

But end of the day, it's just a label to try and describe very broad ideas. Even straight doesn't mean you would sleep with all of the other cis gender. We get too hung up with some preferences and not others.

I would say he is just inquisitive as to what it would be like to suck a cock. Whether he does anything about it, only time and his inquisitive nature will decide.

As a fab label, I'd suggest bi curious.

But that can then prompt many unwanted messages, so I can understand the hesitation.

Personally, I wonder if in many situations it's more a case of being conditioned by porn rather than a natural bisexual craving.

I don’t think one aspect of who/what you are, should define you.. a lot of people actually have very little, or no sex at all, so why should they be defined by what they might or might not do, in a hypothetical situation..? Crazy..

As people have noted, just put what makes the most sense for you. Be honest with people about what you want to do with them, but don't worry about meeting anyone's definition but your own when it comes to your sexuality

As an aside, sexuality policing is dumb and unless you have a fetish for dumb people you can safely block anyone that does it.

Yeah I mentioned FAB specifically as there are 4 options

Straight

Curious

Bi

Gay

Bigger conversation piece possibly is are those dated concepts that don’t adequately cover the population?

Think the poster who suggests you definitely fall into one of three categories is talking absolute bollocks (no offence). As for anyone else being an attention seeker that is even more absurd.

It’s about honesty and integrity really. Does having Shemale fantasies about a transsexual who lives life as a woman make you bi?

Things are a bit mor fluid I would suggest.

But thanks all for your comments

I'd say, stop thinking about it so hard. Go along with whatever feels good at the time, if looking back you decide it wasn't what you really wanted then forget about it. Labels are for putting on little boxes, people don't fit well into little boxes.

Perhaps avoid the shemale tag unless someone explicitly describes themselves that way, it kind of has porn movie connotations and a lot of trans folk find it offensive - just saying, I'm not personally offended unless someone deliberately uses it to be offensive. But if you do fancy seeing whether you do enjoy a bit of "interaction" with a trans woman, then maybe don't use that wording on a meet request lol.

And if you ever as a couple want to try a little experimentation of the MFT, three in a bed, see what interesting combinations might occur type... I'm sure you would find someone willing to help you (flutters eyelashes )

Not sure it really matters. To be fair the labels that Fab has are rather outdated.

Maybe they need to review these as they arent really that inclusive. I consider myself pansexual rather than bisexual.

People can be of the mindset of never say never without actually seeking a particular thing.

There used to be a lot of bias and prejudice towards bi men on Fab. Have had many conversations with guys who used straight because otherwise they found fewer couples and women would meet. Not sure how it is these days, but does seem like there's more bi identifying accounts. Maybe a sign it's more accepted? I'm so here for it as I love when everyone gets to play together!
