Are you also watching it live? You can watch it live on the bbc, queue builds ahead of queens lying - in - state. I agree with starmers comment "Incredible

to see people come together" King Charles 3rd and his sons princes william and harry will walk behind the queen’s coffin this afternoon, alongside other senior royals

The Royal family will have an additional 7 days of mourning after the funeral including the Royal households. Then with a few exceptions it's business as usual until the coronation which is usually about a year after the death of the previous monarch.

I’m not normally a fan of brass band music but found the procession march quite moving tbf. It’s weird as I’m no Royalist or Monarchist but I’m finding the whole thing quite sad / Quasi-emotional. Like a sense of loss for something I’m not sure I ever had. Strange.

I suppose so I was listening to Danny Kelly on TalkSPORT and he said something that Never occurred to me till he mentioned it he said she’s probably the last female monarch most of us will see when you look at who’s next in line it’s all men

Well unless a tragedy happens she definitely will be for me. Im the same age pretty much as Prince William and after him it's George and the line of succession from there will depend weather when he has children he has a boy or a girl 1st.

I'm aware but obviously if he has a boy 1st the vast majority of people alive now won't see another Queen unless he has a girl.

No it's still 5 days from now. The 10 days starts the day the monarch dies however this is going to be 11 days because the funeral is normally held 10 days after the monarch dies and lets it on a Sunday which is the case this time.

My friend’s brother was part of the ceremony at the Palace of Westminster today. He was behind the guard with the big flag after the service.

Such an honour to be part of a monumental occasion but must be so sad too. The pallbearers faces were so full emotion

I do feel a bit sorry for the soldiers on 6hr guard shift, dressed in semi-armour

Each unit is on guard for six hours but they change out within the unit every 20 minutes.

I've switched over to watch it live for a little while before I head to bed and one of the Royal Company of Archers collapsed just as they were changing guards. Poor fella looked like he fainted but they quickly cut the live feed

Where were you watching live footage of inside Westminster hall? Since the Queen's coffin arrived there earlier today I haven't seen any live footage, I didn't think they were allowed to film in there.

Impressive. I happened to be in London yesterday. Although I was busy whilst she was being moved from Buck House to Westminster Hall, being there before and after was slightly surreal. What should have been a pleasant walk from Victoria Station up to The Strand became a logistical nightmare when all the crossing points were closed about 2 1/2 hrs before the procession! We had to go back to Victoria Underground and get the tube instead.

They won't let it go past 10 miles and will close the queue completely once they think anybody that joins won't have time to see the Queen lying in state. I think that's the best idea as it would be awful for somebody to be queuing for hours to be told there wasn't time.
