MBTI on fab profiles

When I was first on fab a few years back it was really common for people to have their MBTIs on their profile and now since I've been back I don't think I've seen a single one.

Did it just fall out of fashion?

I had to Google it and most of the articles appear to be debunking the test as meaningless.

I've been on since 2008 and don't recall ever seeing anyone have it visible.

BDSM test results, yes, but never any reference to Myers Briggs.

It would have been around 2014 and was definitely a thing.

I’ve been around on Fab under many incarnations for a number of years and I’m another that doesn’t recall seeing this on profiles, maybe I just looked at the wrong ones.

The only time I ever really had any dealings with Myers-Briggs was during the various residential “Management” courses I undertook in swanky locations at work and then disregarded as soon as I got back into the day-to-day work environment ..

It’s a bit of fun learning it all but I wouldn’t hold much stock on it in terms of the type of people I want to meet off a fuck site tbf

There's a brilliant QI episode that explains that the Myers Briggs test was created by an American woman that didn't like her prospective son-in-law.

From Wikipedia "Most of the research supporting the MBTI's validity has been produced by the Center for Applications of Psychological Type, an organization run by the Myers-Briggs Foundation, and published in the center's own journal, the Journal of Psychological Type (JPT)"

That's called marking your own homework...

I don't think I've ever seen it on anyone's profile ... I'm ENTJ (but I'm an 'I' in real life vs my work life)

Love ENTJs. I'm ENTP, always get on really well with INTJs and ENTJs

I was here then and have never seen it on a profile.

I'm not sure how it would help.
