I like to make jewellery myself, and go camping, travelling, and learning French.

I also love cooking and dinning out too!

Oooo, my car has her own blog, which was last update around 2005.

I may need to resurrect my "naughty" website that I used to have a few years ago

I suppose I can call it a hobby but it's more of a passion ...

I collect old miners lamps and also collect and restore vintage telephones.

I also collect and restore cast iron road signs, mileposts and old street lights.

Strange I know, bur we have a big garden in which to display the signs and street lamps, the telephones and miners lamps are diaplayed in the house ...

Makes a change from the usual blokey things dunnit ?

My passion is writing ... I have had a couple of stories published, but working on a full size novel at the moment. I also love photography and walking in the Dales.

"Bonjour mon ami, comment allez vous?

I had teacher of French who insisted "comment allez vous?" meant how do you go (to the toilet?) as in 'how are you(r bowels working?)' and insisted on the more colloquial ca va?

"

Yeah they all work, with the exception of a couple of 'Type SL's which had to be lit using a very low voltage, high current electric ignitor, but the Type 6, GR6, 6RS, all work when filled with fuel .....

Saves a fotune on electric lolll yeah, but have you seen the cost of lamp oil these days

"i collect model motorbikes and bike related books "

If you like bikes you need to Visit Beamish Open Air Museum. They have a great collection of old motorbikes, Vincent, Royal Enfield .. the works.

This time of year they have a Christmas festival where some of the bikes are running, complete with carbide lights
