Social butterfly or catapiller

Hello ladies and gents

Hope you’re all well and in the best of health

Before covid I used to be the most social of butterflies but since the lockdowns and the year and a half of consciously keeping a distance from folk do you find you have become more or less social after the pandemic

I find I prefer my own space and less keen on big group gatherings

People seem to frustrate me

surrounded by twinkly lights

I adore being a social butterfly in a known social setting, but abhor crowds of unknown people and yes it is a trust/control thing.

In this day and age the risk of harm puts me right off, so the caterpillar for me then, I'm always found on the edge or at the back if a group of unknown people, which is another reason why I don't go to festivals

I’ve never been to a festival

I think I’d love it but only if it’s somewhere hot and sunny and I have my own tent

I’m a bit like that. I’m a social butterfly but since Covid I just can’t be arsed! When I do go out I’m no different to before but it’s actually making myself do things at the moment. I’m actually starting to annoy myself with it too.

I like to be out and about and mixing with people but I often find I get irritated by some people easily these days so probably better off in my own company most of the time

Like a social event and all covid did really is just show some people in their true light and how utterly stupid some people are ?? but Mrs4 is a very sociable person and enjoys a good natter and Mr4 is fairly sociable but does seem tht a fair few people are avoiding the larger gatherings but then some who say they are/do ..then bugger off to clubs lol

I'm a little more of a caterpillar at present (a very hungry one, at that). I've been known to be a butterfly on occasion, just less so recently.

I think I’m possibly less sociable. I don’t mind not go out and mixing and I’m happy in my own company.

I was never great in large groups but I just stand still and hope someone chats to me these days

Definitely a caterpillar! I don't mind small groups of people I know well for socialising, other than that it's a no from me.

I used to thrive in large groups but these days

I’m happy in my own company or small nearest and dearest friends

The rest of the humans piss me off

Now put me in a pack of 12 dogs

Yes these are creatures I want to spend time with

I'm definitely a caterpillar especially in large groups if I don't know many but with friends i know well then I'm fine.

I am fine in my own company to as I do not socialise much now.

I'm probably better with animals and children.

Hmm, I don’t have a problem with large groups if I’m not expected to have any interaction with them, so being in a crowd at a festival or whatever is fine, and I’m fine talking to a large group of people if I’m the one presenting or training people or whatever, and I’m ok be to one, but put me in a group that I’m expected to socialise with and I feel the need to leave quite soon, it’s my sons wedding in a few weeks and he already knows that I won’t stay late, that once the need to leave comes over me there’s not much I can do about it except get in more and more of a grumpy mood and be introverted so it’s far easier to just sneak out quietly saying goodbye to the absolute minimum amount of people possible.

I’ve done lots of things since things have gone pretty much back to normal. More than I did before. Spent so much time not being able to do stuff I think it’s made me think life is too short. I only have a small circle of friends and my social activities are nothing too crazy.
