At least have the decency if your not interested to send one bk saying your not interested, makes you think how many fakes are in here I'm certainly not doing anything wrong lol!!

Depends who initiated the convo in my opinion.

If you messaged THEM first, I always think it’s fair that you send first.

But if they messaged YOU, then demanded you send first then it’s a risk you take, I think they should go first …

But whatever, any time you send anything on here you do so at your own risk I guess.. only send if you’re happy that they won’t?

Nope.

Same as a message.

If someone doesn't reply its a no. Its not rude, it's not wrong and it's definitely how most will operate.

It's your choice if you send a photo in an opening message. Nobody else's. It's then their choice if they send one back. Not yours.

The sooner people realise this the happier life will be.

why ask for one I'd like to see the person iv sent it to wouldn't bother me if there not interested just makes me feel there obv hiding something, iv got no probs with this site wouldn't judge anyone

So it would be a polite "sorry not for me,but this is me as you asked for a face pic"

I think it's each to their own in what they do..

Each to their own is said a lot and I agree with it.

Fit me, if you ask for a face picture, be prepared to send that with the request. My take on It is like poker, you want to see mine? Show me yours first.

exactly it's just polite if you ask for theirs, don't ask if you wouldn't do it yourself, say your not for me, worse when they don't even reply could be anyone

I am usually happy if they send a polite reject mail myself! As I have been on here long enough to know most don’t bother replying if they ain’t interested!

And I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone would get rude if they received a rejection reply (ffs, be greatfull they actually sent a no thank you rather then instant block). I have even been know to send another message back just saying “thanks for at least replying and good luck finding what you are looking for.

Well if it's a case of them asking first or both people agreeing to swap then whoever is second welches on it, that's less than decent but that's a risk sending first.

If I agree to swap then I honour the swap regardless of whether I like the person on seeing the pic they've sent.

But that's my own code, my word has value even on fab and online. For many, rules or manners don't apply on fab.

Every weirdo has a face.

Equally - how does sending someone a face pic determine if someone is 'genuine'?

Genuine is just another word. Every person that ever stood someone up, ghosted them, or became abusive when turned down had a face and was 'genuinely' a 100% bona fide person.

I would always send a face pic first if I'm asking for one. In fact I usually send a face pic with my opening message if I message a man first cause I just think there's no point continuing the conversation if he doesn't find me attractive.

I don't expect a face pic in a first message from people messaging me though, and wouldn't always choose to send one back to an unsolicited face pic. Guess my own rules are weird. Much like the majority of Fab
