I’ve expressed love for that accent and Brum (I know they’re different) a few times. But I didn’t think either of you had that accent. Just lived there.

It changes a lot. Right now I'm really fond of a gravelly, non-specific accent that's kind of middle class but not yah-ing. Sort that sounds like they've had many late nights fucking and chain smoking so their vocal chords are a bit fucked. It's mainly the voice for me.

Unfortunately for me, I have a broad cockney accent. You'd be surprised at how negatively people react to it. A lot of people associate it with being stupid or a thug and I'm very far from those things. I've worked hard to try and lose it but I've never quite succeeded.

When I watched Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings, I was surprised at how many of the orcs sounded like my friends and members of my family.

I, too, have a boring RP accent, but I do find American women like it.

Dublin is lovely - so too Old Town Edinburgh (Miss Jean Brodie accent, I somethimes think of it as). French,Italian too. And anything posh and husky - think Sibella in Kind Hearts.

I'm Scottish (Glasgow) but lived in England so it's mellowed a little

Love the northern accent around Bury towards Halifax (spicific I know)

The Bristol twang and Cornwall but the one that drives me crazy with lust is hampshire

Around portsmouth/Gosport I adore the accent there.
