Published/None Published Verifications

Evening all

Just wondered what people's thoughts are on published and non published verifications?

Personally I publish mine so people can see who the actual profile is and the feedback recieved from the meet which I believe gives any prospective meets a good indication of what to expect, I noticed that a lot of profiles choose the non published option which is something I don't quite understand really, would this not surely put any future meets in doubt if your not willing to publish those verifications?

On the other hand with a published verification do people see the type of people you have been meeting previously and that may put them off also?

Be interesting to hear everyone's opinions on this...

Sometimes people don't want the drama of lamp post pissing

Titz Towers, North Notts

Some of mine are unpublished as they are guys or couples I've simply chatted to in clubs. We haven't played.

In this case it's so that those folk who won't meet anyone with a TG verification don't block them just because they've been admiring my wit, wisdom, poise, whoopee cushion and so on.

Excuse me for my naivity but could you break this down for me? Haha

I am struggling to understand what you mean by this?

I’m not ashamed of who I’ve met (though they might be of me!) - I only meet people I know in advance I like so if someone wants to avoid meeting me on the basis of the people I’ve met previously then I guess I’ve dodged a bullet there and they’re not necessarily the type of people I’d want to meet!

So I’m happy to publish where veris are exchanged.

Sometimes we don’t exchange veris. I met a gawjuss lady about a month ago I previously met on a prior incarnation on here and just seeing her again was enough!

Interesting but even if its non published it does show the gender does it not?

If someone gives you a verification and leaves the site, their verification disappears. Which might look like it's hidden.

Haha I'm the same my friend, I guess with verifications being such a powerful source on fab its just intriguing to know what people prefer to use and why and what some people don't like to see that changes there minds on meets

Never thought about that! So it remains on your profile but will basically show as unpublished?

What are your preferences with verifications do certain types of veris on profiles put you off in any way?

I don't publish mine, I don't want people messaging the people I've met talking about me, which I know happens as I've had messages from people asking about them from veris I've left.

It has put me off people too when I've seen they've got verifications from some grimy lass who looks like they wash their fanny once a month.

I chop and change. I sometimes show a few social ones. There are some I’d never show as I don’t like people knowing who I meet. Depends really. I’ve never shown the summary though. I’m not a big fan of veris anyway. I tend to ask people not to leave them now and I don’t either x

Yes. If I verified you today and left the site tomorrow, from then on you'd have an "unpublished" (also invisible to you) verification from a woman.

Not usually, no. To me they tell me more about the person doing the verifying than the person being verified.

(Of course I look for a pattern to indicate what someone might be like in person, but individually, no)

I think it's up to you.

Haha well that's one way of putting it I suppose, wouod it not be more of a risk to meet someone with unpublished verifications?

If you think about it logically if you can't actually see there profile who they it could well be "some grimy lass who looks like they wash their fanny once a month." Haha

I read other folks because I'm a nosey moo. Keep mine hidden as some were from when I had a cpls account. So totally irrelevant now, and my sex life, or lack of one isn't anyone else's business (double standards I'm aware)

People don't want others to see who they've met, try and lay claim to with regular veris... Sometimes there can be jealousy.

I've blocked some people I had originally verified, after they became problematic, so they don't show. And I tend to only show the current ones.

Interesting one this Nora because as a single male profile I had to work my backside off for my first verification as it was near impossible to have people take you seriously without one..

So with what you said above does that mean you would meet a profile that had no verifications whatsoever if the chemistry was there?

Absolutely. I’ve met a few with none, never had any issues, and I would again. I always know they are genuine before I meet anyone so I’ve never understood why people won’t meet someone without any veris personally. Just my opinion though of course. We all do fab in our way

Ah yeah I get that one now, thanks for clearing it up

I suppose you could publish for an allocated time and unpublished after that period if you wanted also
