I quite like You & Me, the Flume Remix. Think it’s Eliza Doolittle singing. Great video.

I'll cite my usual selection of Dylan contenders:

I want you

Lay Lady Lay

Precious Angel

Make you feel my love

When the Deal goes Down

To name but a few

That song is 100% Gary Barlow. He wrote it when he was 15, way before TT.

It's cheesy as hell in that cringe 80s way, but my favourite is "If I could" by 1927

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

How about?:

Natalie Cole (RIP) - "Non Dimenticar" (Do Not Forget)

It's class & lush & rolled into a smooch. It doesn't matter whether its Nat or his daughter. However, Nat's has a "Stingray" women trilling in the background...

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

A non Nat King Cole sound would be:

Bob Dylan - "Its all Over Now Baby Blue"

Van Morrison does a competent version as does good ole' Bob. Marianne Faithful's version isn't shoddy either.

But, my favourite is:

Graham Bonnet - "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue." It's got a bit of a Rod Stewart vibe without it being naff....

I quite like ZZ Top ballads! They have an awesome back catalogue. A fave of mine is:

ZZ Top - "Rough Boy"

Nearly forgot Bryan Ferry - the suave bastard in the suit - it just makes yer sick.....! Great for the background to your horizontal shuffle. LOL.
