I don't know how to say this without offending people, gay men are beginning to look more like straight women with cosmetic surgery and makeup. I'm a gay man and I'm attracted to men. I don't understand why high percentage of gay men want to look like women... (some females are absolutely stunning) but no offence but I don't find women sexually attractive you would think a gay guy that's attracted to a guys would like to go out with a guy that looks like and acts guy.

can somebody explain to me why some gay men want to look like women with masculine features?? I am not trying to put anyone down or discriminate but I'm really confused

I got a very strong feeling I'm going to regret posting this.

I guess it’s just a fashion / trend / sheep mentality thing that they all want to look like the influencers out there. Who knows?

All I do know is … skip past those that don’t match your requirements and focus on those that do. Like in any form of dating.

Because some gay men are quite feminine? And there's no one way to present as a gay man? Just like some gay women present as masculine? Each to their own, their bodies, their choice.

nice reply to be honest it's really hard to find a gay man that looks and acts like a man. gay men were so different when I was younger.

I do it for fun I'm under no illusion I'm a guy in a dress with makeup and wig.

I dress for my pleasure.

I also be in guy mode 90% of the time as they're two completely different parts apf my life.

Just block tv profiles.

Enjoy your time on here and bypass the profiles that aren't for you.

Is it more just a case of things like surgery becoming more easily accessible and less taboo, and people can finally start looking the way they want without the same backlash as there was historically?

There was a great observation about gay men in the 80s…. a lot dressed like football hooligans (shaved heads, DMs, bomber jackets) whereas all the football hooligans had started to dress much more flamboyantly in the casual scene with imported sportswear!
