Why don’t Hollywood take a look at all the shit films that were good ideas and remake them?? Instead of remaking what we still think of as good films?

F’kin idiots!

I thought this might be about Hocus Pocus 2 which I just saw a trailer for.

But it's always possible to avoid watching these things

See, I loved this film as a child. But I can see if it's redone a whole new generation would love it.

This. I tried to watch it with my kids last Christmas and they insisted I turn it off because "the effects are terrible, Mum!".

I also loved it. But let's face it, it is certainly a movie that has not aged well, and the book is so much better too.

I don't understand the hate for remakes and reboots.

They either turn out good, and do it justice bringing new fans to it.

Or it ends up bad, but the original still exists, and just goes to prove the original is better and/or just as good as it always was.

Travelling

Also, it's the rights to the book.

Multiple studios currently in a bidding war.

In fact the more I think about it the more I like the idea of it being remade. Movies 1 and 2 were parts 1 and 2 of the book. And movie 2 was dogshit.

The movies as nostalgic as they are, did not do the book justice.

Same! There are so many films they won't watch because they "look" old.

Remake them all!!!
