Earlier this year, for the first time ever, having walked past the mannequin on display during my daily walks, I walked in without prompting and bought a quirky inside-out boiled wool/cashmere jumper. It was £10. A Boss Orange™, in green. It's my cherished item of clothing.

A lot of the 'art' in our house comes from charity shops. We've got some lovely stuff that we'd never be able to afford normally.

I also have a c 1945 wooden needlework box with a lift up lid and a drawer that was full of vintage sewing kit for £10 and an accordion sewing box with contents for £15. I know nobody needs two needlework boxes but ...

stone island cashmere hooded jumper with a zip & button front for £3 ... sold 10 years later on ebay during lockdown. i set the auction to run for 10 days and didn't get a chance to look how things were going until day 9. i couldn't believe what the bidding had got up to. i watched the closing 3-4 minutes and the bidding almost trebled again in that time.

Needed a new handbag bag for work. Ended up getting 3 for tenner as they had a deal on

My best 'bargain' is a dehumidifier that had only been used a few times. Saw a guy at the tip unloading it from his car and went over to ask if it was working. The electrics section guys didn't looked chuffed to see me trotting off with it, retail at around £280

Just back from dropping some cds and books to a charity shop.

They had a dvd section , 4 for £1.

Managed to get Avengers Infinaty War and Avengers End gane.

Didnt see any other that I liked so just paid £1 for 2.

Is this the end of DVDs?
