We have our tickets but they are unsure whether it will go ahead now.

We think it should. It can be done as a celebration of the queen's life. What's more British than the last night of the Proms?

On a practical note, it would cost the BBC a fortune to cancel all the events planned across the country.

What do you think?

Incidentally, we went to the Prom yesterday which they cancelled. They played the national anthem and Nimrod from the Enigma Variations by Elgar, which was stunning and very fitting. We were glad to be there.

Think it’s been cancelled already?

And I agree it would make a rather fitting tribute for it to go ahead as a celebration of her life.

I have seen that now. I think it's a shame and I doubt the queen would have wanted that.
