Unfiltered stella, I've got to say how much it reminds me of back when it was proper, 5.2% abv stuff that everyone gave it that notorious name...

This got me thinking, there must be a ton of brands and products that have changed over the years for you, and now they just don't cut the mustard any more, have you got any that you miss?

I honestly don't remember seeing that

I'll have to try get hold of some of the imported stuff and see if it's similar to that of old

Grolsch was much better back then too. Pretty much the only 2 beers that I drink but I've grown fond of Peroni lately.

Drank Grolsch in the 90's then onto Stella and now a big Peroni fan

Peroni is ok, I still feel that it's rated so highly as like you say, others are not up to previous standards. Not too fond of those tall glasses though, if you're a bit heavy handed or over zealous with your swig it's easy to splash yourself.

Wham bars - so tiny now.

Regarding weak assed locally brewed under licence Stella and for that matter the others - you can still buy imported stuff and mostly it's the beer you remember.

If you see it anywhere try either Hertog Jan or Jupiler
