I'd save the good one for when your palate is fresher

Two bottles requires a sick note?

That's just mid week relaxation.

When the hard stuff comes out after, maybe lol.

Life’s to short to drink cheap wine. Unless the 5£ one is your fave, then drink your favourite

Aldi, Lidl, plenty hovering around that price.

Will they win any awards, god no, but I'm blessed with the ability to drink just about anything if it's alcoholic.

The last time I got a bottle of wine for that cheap around here was about 8 years ago. It was on offer for 2 for £6 or £7 in a corner shop and the bottles just said "white wine".

It tasted like straight up toxins so my friend and I mixed it with Caribbean punch (don't judge me we were students). That was pretty much my last memory from that night.

Sounds pretty standard tbh.

Though I think it's fine, expectation management is key and at the very worst, splash of lemonade will take the edge off.

I find it a little fun tbh, I can easily find a bottle of white that I'll enjoy for a tenner easy.

Now under a fiver, thats an adventure lol.

Colchester

Try something like a Penfold's Bin 2 Shiraz Mataro.

You'll taste how much more refined and superior it is compared to the £10 red, and you'll certainly taste the difference to a £5 red.
