Music & Physics- scored high 90's in both exams with little effort (tbf, the music one was based mainly on compositions from the previous couple of years- first one took 4 months, last one i knocked out in an afternoon while skipping French again)

English. Moved five months into my final year from England to Wales. Passed all my exams, having only studied five months of the Welsh curriculum, but for some reason my old English teacher got them to let me sit the English curriculum papers for English Lit and Language. My love of English led to my English Lit Degree, and that degree led to my being accepted on my Nursing one, having had no experience in care etc.

I’ll always be grateful to my English teacher for his belief in me xx

Not really fair to be competing with 5 year olds when you were 25 though.

Most of them. I’m not saying I was Uber intelligent. I have a great retention of memory. Which in exams it helped massively. I left school with 11 O/levels. And 4 highers. And then an HND at college. University wasn’t for me

"Business studies.

Hated business studies and got a D but for some utterly bizarre reason it was a double award GCSE grade averaged with Design Tech which I got an A* in meaning I got a double B grade overall

I also struggled with languages and genuinely didn't try which resulted in a D for German. I can't say I didn't have to think at all but I really didn't try anywhere near as hard for any of my school stuff but walked away with all A's and B's beside that D in German. It is one of my regrets that I didn't put more effort in.

Everything else except Spanish.

I was the only one to fail, and I loved it, my combined grades spelt D.U.D.E.

Honestly, its one of my fondest memories, senorita bitch face trying to embarrass me in front of the whole class, instead, we celebrate the fact I'm the only certified dude in the room.

History, maths, arithmetic and modern studies. Was passable at English and the sciences.

I never studied. If I enjoyed the subject, I could retain it, if I hated the subject, I never bothered.

Welsh... I have no idea how. I didn't speak it except in lessons.

My Sats were the lowest scores for Welsh but somehow I still got an A in GCSE. And they wanted me to drop down a set and do the lower grade paper.
