This time of year low mood can be due to shortening days and low vit d. Add a supplement and get out in daylight when you can

Try and do something that 'fills' you with joy, even if you have to force yourself to go through the motion. It should help you to feel a little more positive and resilient

Well, that's normal for all people some days like this. Tomorrow is another day today still can change. Worst you can do is thinking is something wrong with you /mental issues/. Don't thing about it. Do so something that's satisfy you.

Re do something that fills you with joy, good if this is something physical not necessarily exercise per se could be dancing - just at home yourself or even singing. Singing boosts oxygen flow and released endorphins

When I feel down, I get to the gym, and hit the hardest workout in my library. I tend to feel pretty awesome afterwards. I look at problems more rationally afterwards, and come up with strategies to deal with them.

Exercise is a great way of pushing those negative feelings away. However, if you can’t face the gym why don’t you get some of your favourite tunes piped straight into your ears and go for a walk. Just a twenty minute stroll might help you put things back into perspective.

Hope you feel more positive soon.

20 odd posts and a lot of them from the OP himself.

Had this been posted by one of the regulars there would likely have been hugs, kisses, cwtch’s and all kinds of things thrown around.

Are people more empathetic to those familiar to them or is it all just a bit too clique ?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

OP, I hope your mood has lifted a little since your post.

Sometimes a little bit of greenery and being by water can help. It can be hard to summon the energy to get out but that first step to starting a routine now can help to prevent feeling blue becoming more serious.

Keep talking. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry to hear this, OP. It's ok to have a bad day so don't feel guilty for that.

As others have said, I try to get out and do something, whether the gym or just a long walk (appreciate it's a bit late for that now). I'd get that music on and damn the neighbour this time (or get your headphones on)!

Hope tomorrow is a better day!
