evesham

But if everyone wanted to work the sane fixed shifts they would be screwed. We had that problem at my place.

People can request set hours under the family friendly scheme but if there is no business need for them we can decline their request.

Just get friendly with lots of people and swap your shifts about

some jobs the staff have rostered holidays and some long hours.

currently im working 14 hours a day but thats a choice i make so i can get the money while its there.

we would all love to sit and do nothing all day,but sadly bills come in and need paying.

its life.

I'm currently working 7 days a week to pay the bills. My medical stuff means working lots in a day is tiring so I stretch it out over the whole week. You do what you have to so that you can still contribute. Sadly that's life.

I work 2 out of 3 weekends , would love to only work one every six weeks.

You may as well kiss most of your social life away if you're going to work in that environment

I doubt theres the option to pick and choose and the shifts are always going to be across the 24 hrs,its not going to be easy with a little one to get looked after too

As for working one weekend in 6? wow! they would more than likely be preferring you to have one weekend off in 6!

Before little one i was used to working every other weekend. When i did care in the community i worked every saturday.

Apparently one weekend in 6 is what they require from everyone. I was surprised too.
