I don’t need to accidentally miss calls, if it’s a caller I don’t wish to speak too I just let it ring out, and similarly, I only return missed calls from callers I want to speak too.

I don’t have voice mail activated, so no one can leave a message.

For general calls I have an instrumental section from one of my favourite prog rock songs, and for close friends I have the intro to a rock song I wrote and a friend recorded. I only put it on silent when at work, visiting people, and on stage with my band.
