Its a difficult one, in the past people held a child over a grate but it would possibly be frowned on these days.

A lady knocked on my door and asked if her daughter could use the toilet. Of course I let her, I'd have felt terrible if she'd have wet herself. It's never happened before and it just made me think what I'd do in the same situation

Well luckily the downstairs toilet is right behind the front door so I just waited at the front door.

Tricky situation really, I don't think there's a right or wrong answer
