Toenail Prediction

I'm running a big massive run tomorrow. Have got pre-race jitters. I've got my snacks ready. I've eaten three bowls of pasta and a pot noodle.

Now I'm wondering which of my toe nails will fall off. Let me know what you predict.

*If you get it right, the prize is the toe nail.*

Top tips: the nail on the pinky toe on my left foot is already a bit black.

The nails on my middle toes have fallen off before.

Good luck everyone.

"Leprosy?.. "

No - my toes don't fall off. Just the toe nails.

Hmmm if this is similar to one of those logic riddles.. Then may we firstly establish the existing condition of said toenails

Count Your Blessings Cottage, Gratitude Grove

I lost my big toe nail a couple of weeks ago, it goes back quick and didn’t hurt.

It was more painful when the nail was hanging in for dear life as I kept catching it on things

Good luck

They all look good except the little one on my left foot.

(That's my personal prediction, if I'm honest.)

Both of the toenails next to my big toes get blisters under them and they subsequently fall off like three days later after a long walk in walking boots or a 10km run.

It sounds proper gross and eye watering but in reality it's not actually at all painful and no more gross than scratching the edge of a scab off

I will go for the nail on you left pinky toe, it sounds like it’s given up the ghost already. If I am right, you can keep the toenail and good luck, you go sound like you have got this covered.what the distance of the race?

Aww I so feel your pain. I always lose the 2 small toenails (toenails 4 & 5) on both feet as a result of running. I now paint fake toenails with a darker nail varnish to hide my hideous toenails

I would surmise that the pointy shoes in December are rubbing near your little toes so the ones from may 21 would be best to wear

You're right, years of wearing stilettos has changed the shape of my feet and then running 30 plus miles a week has just taken their toll on my poorly positioned toenails...such a sexy thought hey

Ps I live more in trainers, converse and flip flops than I do stilettos for the past 2.5 years.

I ran loads of 5k's and 10k's, a few half marathons and London marathon and never lost a toe nail. Admittedly I wasn't fast but I was fat so quite a lot of pressure going through my tootsies
