This maybe good for customers who can get a ticket for £3 but I feel sorry for all the employees that will work on this dreadful day tomorrow.

I can already see many of them are gonna be overstressed, overworked and probably not be able to get a break.

I guess the alternative is a slow decline in cinema sales and ultimately losing their job.

Hopefully most employers will be reasonable (hey, I’m a glass half full type of guy) and ensure they uphold their duty of care to their staff.

But it’s a good point you make - if anyone is taking advantage over the weekend don’t be a dick and be nice to those working while you’re having a nice night out

Let's hope so. What would be bad is they ended up low on staff when someone phones in sick and they can't get anyone to cover. This would be worse for those that clean the screens as they probably wouldn't be able to catch a breath as every screen would be packed.

I'm not suggesting it's a real dream career, but certainly don't think it's the victorian era employment being described.

A lit of staff I see, appear to be part time students happy to make a buck.

Bedford (or anywhere beginning with B..!?)

Is it going to be that rammed? ...who's actually planning on heading to the cinema because of the reduced rate? ... curious is all

The worst thing about going to the cinema is the other people in the cinema, tomorrow sounds like a hellish way to try and watch something.
