Do you turn your mattress?

Central

Usually recommended but mine said it wasn't needed, so it's only been done a couple of times in years. It's a king and not easy to do alone. Still seems evenly balanced.

Usually turn mine about once a month or so, also open the windows and use a riding crop to give it a good beating. The amount of dust that comes out of it is truly a sight to behold

People flip their matters?

I’ve got quite an expensive one and the top is different to the bottom, don’t think I’m meant to

Solihull and Brentwood

Turned mine once: Managed to smash into smithereens an Ikea vase when I first lifted it up. Then almost catapulted the other bedside cabinet into the wardrobe.

Never again.

I think we need a swarthy band of strong fab people who can roam and turn mattresses for those of us who aren't as strong, or prone to flipping them and breaking Ikea vases etc

I'm not sure about that, you'll be sleeping upside-down then.

Has this place been taken over by mrs Hinch or something?

How often do you wash your pillows and duvet?

Well that's what I said but then the hotel was all like, "No you can't drill hooks into the ceiling to hang upside-down and 'sleep like a bat or whatever'."

Newry Down

Many modern mattresses are one-sided so cannot be flipped only rotated.

Pillow-top mattresses should be treated the same
