It's something I've never taken any notice of and was actually amazed when I saw on here before that it is a big deal for people. I put the toilet roll on whichever way I pick it up sometimes it over sometimes it's under

The importance of this varies depending on where you live. I've never given much thought to the issue until I saw a gif from an Australian friend where there was a huntsman spider sitting atop the roll.

If it's under, then you pull the spider away from you. If it's over then it lands in your underwear.
