Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I have spent a fortune on timbered bi fold doors for my kitchen.

I was told they would be delivered today between 3 and 6. Worried I would miss the delivery as I could not get there, due to work, before 3.45 I called them and they insisted that was the time - no flexibility.

I drove like a demon to the house which is empty and like a building site. Managed to get here by 3.35. It is now 7.30 and, having spoken to the delivery driver, found out he had extras put on his list at the last minute. Did they phone and warn me? No. Just left me here freezing my ass off in a building site with no chance of a brew or bite to eat yet.

Guess who will be firing off a snotty email when she gets home?

oh and dont have a go at the delivery driver hes at the bad end of the stick and is powerless to stop the adding to his run

I didn't. He had extra piled on him. Finally arrived at nearly quarter to 8.

....this is where you find out that there is a piece missing or they are the wrong colour/size.
