This has happened to me a couple of times, couple of "old friends" have come back to fab, they started chatting again and asked if I would verify them, which I was happy to do, but now they have ignored me, I wish there was a button to take the verifications away, had this happened to anyone else

I don't want to block them, but I think there should be a button to delete it from their account

Would be handy if they said you were a shit shag after you already left them a glowing veri

Unfortunately it's just like first dates after one goes first and waxes lyrical for the other to go "nah mate - not interested"

Just leave another vertification saying what they have do and do to people say its a false vertification

Isn’t a verification meant to be a statement that you’ve met them and they are who they say they are.

So if you did meet them, isn’t the verification still valid?

As others have said I think blocking them will possibly disable the viewing of the veri but it will still show on their ‘count’ of verifications.

I get it you’re disappointed at being ghosted, but why not just move on if the verification is genuine?

Usually South, Currently North

That button would be ripe for misuse - can you imagine how many guys on here would get the arse, especially after a social that lead to a “thanks, but I don’t want to take it further”?

A verification is just that - a confirmation that they exist, they turned up and they look like their pics. It’s not a promise of more play or contact imo

I don’t think blocking them removed the veri - isn’t that only if someone leaves that their veri disappears?

I think there's 5 possible options.

Leave as is

They delete their account

You delete your account

They block you

You block them

Blocking does remove the wording and verification, but still shows as part of verification 'count'.

Blocking them removes the text and who it's from. But the summary will still be there.

Or ask them not to show it. I’ve done that before when I stopped showing my own veris.

Yes, I have had this and it's disappointing. I didn't give to receive though. A verification just confirms they are known and real.
