Glad to be home ...

... after a week in hot and humid Hong Kong!

The heat, noise, amount of people, and my dear mum were beginning to get on my nerve, and I am soooooo glad to be home, in peace and quiet, with just my pets for company!

Went out for a walk in the wind and rain with doggy after I freshened up, and it was bliss!

Home sweet home, and the pets miss me, bless them!

Needed some relief after the shower, and found the batteries in the wabbit have gone flat Had to rely on the trusted shower rose again

SWVoyeur has kindling mentioned I have not missed much, as I was hardly away from the forums long enough

Anyway, glad to be home, and hopefully, I'll find some fun soon enough!

I was born and lived there until I was 14yo. I last went back in 1987 just before my folks immigrated to Canada.

It has changed beyond recognition since I last went back

However, the food was just as good, and plenty of shopping opportunities.

Does visiting a shop that sells Chinese produce count as culture experience? As I did not do any sightseeing at all except to eat and shop!
