As most of you will know, there are members on here who are having a tough time, health wise, financially, emotionally etc.

Over the past months I have read posts about illness,deaths,financial difficulties,emotional stresses,some folks have had a good year,an average year,a bad year and some possibly the worst year ever.

The support and friendship even just the knowing there is someone there to listen or just to think of can be very important, there are best friends,great friends,good friends,friends and even just cyber friends on here, and some are just friends you haven't met yet.

As in the "real" world ( away from the scene/cyber world) not everyone will get on, not everyone will like everyone, thats OK no one expects it to be anything different.

There are many on here for many and varied reasons all are equally valid.

Its a free site, its a great site, there are things not everyone likes , but then others might love the things you dont like so I guess what I'm saying is, make the best of the best things for YOU, dont let the things you dont like get you down.

I'd like to thank everyone, the admin, (It's a really tough job, we appreciate the work and effort you guys put in, remember people if it wasn't for admin the whole site woudn't be here),I'd like to thank everyone who contributes, the ones we have met, the ones we have yet to meet, the ones we have only "virtually" met, the social organisers, the participants at the socials, the venue providers, the ones who help with transport everything.

I'd also like to thank the ones who make the forums enjoyable, the chatrooms fun ( even if they are a bit fast for me!! ), also the ones who aren't on the forums and chatrooms much, ty too, you are the ones who are here for meets and I guess at the end of the day thats what it's all really about, everyone that uses this site makes it what it is, so thank you all.

I know its a bit rambling, but the thoughts behind it are genuine, and if one PM, one message, one great meet, one comment in chat, one comment in the forums, new friends, old friends kept in touch, one thought from someone who is thinking of you, anything positive that can be taken fom this place makes one persons day better then thats a good thing.

I hope in the coming months and years then everyone will get something from the site, once more thank you all for your contributions whatever they may be.

And for a guy thats an acheivement in its self. (joke)

Things have been tough for a few of us and to some, even tougher and hard to deal with .

Im a happy bunny most of the time and will continue to be so as my troubles are little ones compared to some.

Christmas is fast approaching and it tends to bring home just how lucky some of us are.

Despite the trials and tribulations of life.

Well said.. well said indeed.

Those who do know me/us know what a year we have had.. and putting all the goings on on here aside its not all been roses but many and I do mean many have been more than supportive in more ways than just an ear to bend..

I would also like to think that those who have taken time to get to know, know I also give as much back.. offering what little support if and when its possible and I get a real feeling seeing those suffer start to smile again, start to be themselves again.. Its lovely it really is.

Why people sometimes feel the need to actually set out to hurt and upset is beyond reasoning.. whatever the reasons are the rest and the good amoungst always make it more than worthwhile..

I am glad that a member from FAB recommended this site to me back in Aug 09 when I started to come out of my shell to look for no string attached fun by joining a paid adult dating site, and have not looked back since.

The paid adult dating site has its purposes. However, it does not have forums like FAB, and I found it less sociable.

I like the friendly atmosphere on FAB.

OK, so there are some really strong characaters that can be intimidating to some. However, that much is true in real life.

All in all I have had some fantastic times on here since I joined in Aug 09, and have made some friends on here

Mind you, I have only played with one member from FAB. Perhaps that will change soon

Keep it up, Fabswingers, you guys and gals are great!
